Pantanal exceeds all expectations

The Pantanal has been on the list for many years and finally an opportunity arose for a 3 week journey to Brazil. I had read about the Pantanal and knew this was a great place to see Jaguars in the wild. What I found was incredible Jaguar encounters but it was more than that. The Giant Otters, Giant Anteaters, Caiman and diversity of bird life was incredible to witness. Accommodation in the Pantanal is comfortable but certainly not luxury but that’s not why you visit. This is remote and largely unspoiled by human contact and this added to the experience. Anyone interested in wildlife photography has to visit this amazing place.
